Every so often, I think I’ll sit down and write my own guide to using ArchiMate… then I realise that someone has already done most of the hard work, and why should I re-invent the wheel, so here are a couple of links to damn useful resources.
- Archi – the Open Source application for ArchiMate modelling.
- R&A Architecture Blog – Gerben Wierda litterally wrote the book on ArchiMate.
- Mastering Archimate – the only ArchiMate book you need!
- ArchiMate 3.0.1 MetaModel – May as well print it out and laminate it.
- Enterprise Development Blog – Great examples, all collected in a handy PDF.
- ArchiMate Metamodel and Patterns – GitHub repository for the examples shown on this blog.
Now that I’ve gotten this post out of the way… I may actually get round to posting something about the JArchi scripts that I’ve been tinkering with (which can be found in my GitHub Gists)
